Job 34:10

Summary

In Job chapter 34, Elihu continues his discourse, addressing both Job and the friends present. He argues that God is just and questions Job's accusations of divine injustice. Emphasizing the righteousness and impartiality of God, Elihu asserts that God does not act wickedly or pervert justice. He highlights that God rewards people according to their deeds and has the ultimate authority to judge human actions. Elihu suggests that since God is all-knowing and all-powerful, His ways are beyond human understanding, and thus cannot be deemed unfair. Through his speech, Elihu invites Job to reconsider his stance and trust in the divine wisdom and justice that govern the world.
