ScriptureDepth

About ScriptureDepth

A Bible study companion built for people who want to go beyond surface-level reading.

Why we built this

The Bible is the most influential book ever written. It's also one of the most intimidating to actually sit down and study.

Not because it's beyond understanding. But because most people come to it without context, without knowing what questions to ask, and without the tools to find answers grounded in the actual text. They read a chapter, feel like they half-understood it, and move on.

We built ScriptureDepth because we believe Scripture is worth the effort of real engagement. Every person who wants to understand the Bible more deeply deserves more than a surface-level reading plan. We wanted to build something that lowers the barrier to that kind of depth, without requiring a seminary degree or an expensive software subscription.

What we offer

  • 1,189 Bible chapter summaries — every chapter of the Bible, clearly explained
  • Bible topics — what Scripture says about anxiety, money, faith, forgiveness, and dozens more
  • AI Bible study chat — ask any question about Scripture and get a verse-grounded answer
  • Reading plans — structured journeys through Scripture for beginners and experienced readers
  • Daily devotional — one verse and reflection delivered every morning

How we use AI

ScriptureDepth uses AI to power the Bible study chat and to generate chapter summaries and topic explorations across the whole Bible.

We take accuracy seriously. The AI is explicitly instructed to cite specific verses for every theological claim, acknowledge where Christians hold different interpretations, and be honest when a question goes beyond what Scripture directly addresses. It will not fabricate verses or present speculation as biblical fact.

It is clearly an AI. It says so. It is a study aid, not a pastor, not a community, and not a substitute for your church, your faith community, or pastoral guidance. We built it to help you go deeper, not to replace the human relationships and spiritual practices that matter most.

Theological stance

ScriptureDepth is interdenominational. Where traditions differ on interpretation, the AI is designed to present the range of views rather than advocate for one. We believe the body of Christ is broad, and our goal is to serve it, not to divide it.
