Why we built this

The Bible is the most influential book in human history. It's also one of the most misread. Not because it's beyond understanding, but because most people read it without context, without structure, and without the right questions.

ScriptureDepth exists to change that. We built a platform where every chapter has a clear summary, key themes are surfaced, and you can ask questions and get answers grounded in the actual text of Scripture.

How we use AI

ScriptureDepth uses AI in two ways: to generate chapter summaries and topic explorations at scale, and to power the Bible study chat feature.

We take editorial care seriously. All AI-generated content is reviewed for biblical accuracy and clarity. The goal is never to replace serious Bible study — it's to make the entry point lower and the depth more accessible.

The AI chat is powered by GPT-4o-mini and is designed to be helpful and honest about what Scripture says, not to push any particular theological agenda.

Theological stance

ScriptureDepth is interdenominational. We aim to present Scripture clearly without favoring any particular tradition. Where theological interpretations differ between Christians, we try to present the range of views fairly rather than advocating for one.
