“But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.”
Micah 7:7 (WEB)
Trusting in God's Perfect Timing
In Micah 7, Micah speaks amidst widespread corruption and betrayal, choosing to trust in Yahweh for salvation and light despite the societal decay around him. The verse emphasizes a personal decision and resolve, with the repetition of "I will" underscoring an intentional act of looking and waiting for God. This determination highlights a contrast between current despair and future hope. Consider today a moment when you can pause and silently listen, trusting that God hears you. This act of waiting is not passive but an active stance of faith, anticipating that just as Micah believed, God will respond to your call.
